General Terms and Conditions

Pet on Line Online Store

 

These General Terms and Conditions of the Pet on Line Online Store at www.petonline.si determine the rights and obligations of the seller/provider/operator of the online store and the buyer/user of this online store, as well as their mutual business relationship.

The General Terms and Conditions are drafted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), based on the recommendations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (GZS) and international codes for electronic commerce.

1. Seller/provider or operator of the Pet on Line Online Store

The seller/provider or operator of the “Pet on Line Online Store” (hereinafter: Pet on Line online store) on the website www.petonline.si is the company:

2. Registration and use of password in the online store

For a successful purchase, buyer registration is desired but not mandatory. The entered data will be protected in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot) and will not be used for any other purpose than processing customer orders.

Upon registration in the Pet on Line Online Store, the user chooses a username and password. The username is a valid email address, and the user chooses the password themselves. The email address and password link the user to the entered data, so please ensure you enter accurate and correct information, as this is the only way we can communicate with you effectively. Buyer registration allows for faster purchases and also ensures the protection of data, which will be used in accordance with all stated terms of use of the website to which the user has agreed.

The right to use the Pet on Line Online Store with a password is limited to the individual to whom permission was given and the password for entry assigned (“authorized party”). This password must not be disclosed to other persons under any circumstances, and the user-authorized party is responsible for all damage caused to the company SiM on Line d.o.o. resulting from the disclosure of their password to other (unauthorized) persons.

3. Shopping in the online store: submission of information and payment of all costs

If you wish to make a purchase of products offered in the PetOnline Store, you may be required to submit certain information, including but not limited to credit cards or other payment details. All such information is treated confidentially by SiM on Line d.o.o.

As a buyer, you agree that all information you provide will be accurate and complete. You also agree to pay all costs incurred using your bank account, credit card, or other payment mechanism at the prices in effect when such costs were incurred. You will also pay all applicable taxes (VAT) and duties relating to your purchases.

4. Ordering and delivery of products from the online store

After submitting an order in the Pet on Line Online Store, the buyer receives an order confirmation to their email address on the same day. The product order is considered a valid sales contract.

The buyer may communicate any cancellation of the order to our email address info@petonline.si within a maximum of 1 (one) hour from the order itself. If the buyer does not cancel their order within the agreed time, it means that the contract for the purchase of products between the buyer and the seller/operator of the Pet on Line Online Store is irrevocably concluded.

 

Once the purchase contract is concluded, it is stored in electronic form at the company's headquarters, where it is accessible every working day between 9 AM and 4 PM.

 

Delivery:

Retail: The seller packs and dispatches the ordered item(s) within 1 - 3 working days. Given the official delivery deadline of our contractual logistics partner (1 - 3 working days), the buyer generally receives the ordered shipment within 2 to a maximum of 8 working days after placing the order or, in the case of payment by proforma invoice, within 2 to a maximum of 8 working days after receipt of payment of the proforma invoice. The buyer always receives an invoice for their order, which may also be in electronic form only.

If a certain product happens to be out of stock and delivery would therefore take longer than 8 (eight) working days, we will notify you by phone or email, so it is important that you enter your data correctly when registering in the online store.

 

Wholesale: The seller packs and dispatches the ordered item(s) within 1 - 8 working days. Given the official delivery deadline of our contractual logistics partner (1 - 8 working days), the wholesale buyer generally receives the ordered shipment within 2 to a maximum of 10 working days after placing the order or, in the case of payment by proforma invoice, within 2 to a maximum of 10 working days after receipt of payment of the proforma invoice. The wholesale buyer always receives an invoice for their order, which may also be in electronic form only.

5. Payment for products in the online store

The options for paying the purchase price for ordering products in the Pet on Line online store are as follows:
A. using your credit or debit card (via the STRIPE payment system or Paypal)
B. by transfer to our bank account no. SI 56 6100 0001 6759 231, opened at DH d.d., Ljubljana - "Proforma Invoice";

When the buyer places an order and selects payment to the bank account in the menu, we send them the appropriate proforma invoice via email, which the buyer must settle no later than within 3 working days of receipt. As soon as the payment is visible on our bank account, we ship the products to the desired address in accordance with point 4, paragraphs 3 and 4. If the funds are not transferred to the business account within 3 working days of receiving the proforma invoice, the order will be automatically cancelled.


6. Delivery cost of products ordered in the online store

 

Retail Slovenia: The cost of preparation, packaging, and delivery of the order, including VAT, is 4.95 €. The cost of preparation, packaging, and delivery is free for shipments where the total value including VAT exceeds 39.00€ (with discounts already applied). The costs of re-preparation, packaging, and re-delivery of an already shipped order that was returned by the delivery service and/or not collected by the customer, including VAT, is 4.95 €.

Retail Croatia, Austria, Hungary: The cost of preparation, packaging, and delivery of the order, including VAT, is 6.95 €. The cost of preparation, packaging, and delivery is free for shipments where the total value including VAT exceeds 50.00€ (with discounts already applied). The costs of re-preparation, packaging, and re-delivery of an already shipped order that was returned by the delivery service and/or not collected by the customer, including VAT, is 6.95 €.

 

Wholesale Slovenia: The cost of preparation, packaging, and delivery of the order, including VAT, is 7.99 €. The cost of preparation, packaging, and delivery is free for shipments where the total value including VAT exceeds 134.20€ (with discounts already applied). The costs of re-preparation, packaging, and re-delivery of an already shipped order that was returned by the delivery service and/or not collected by the customer, including VAT, is 7.99 €.

Wholesale Croatia: The cost of preparation, packaging, and delivery of the order, including VAT, is 9.99 €. The cost of preparation, packaging, and delivery is free for shipments where the total value including VAT exceeds 187,50€ (with discounts already applied). The costs of re-preparation, packaging, and re-delivery of an already shipped order that was returned by the delivery service and/or not collected by the customer, including VAT, is 9.99 €.

Wholesale Austria: The cost of preparation, packaging, and delivery of the order, including VAT, is 9.99 €. The cost of preparation, packaging, and delivery is free for shipments where the total value including VAT exceeds 180,00€ (with discounts already applied). The costs of re-preparation, packaging, and re-delivery of an already shipped order that was returned by the delivery service and/or not collected by the customer, including VAT, is 9.99 €.

Wholesale Hungary: The cost of preparation, packaging, and delivery of the order, including VAT, is 9.99 €. The cost of preparation, packaging, and delivery is free for shipments where the total value including VAT exceeds 190,50€ (with discounts already applied). The costs of re-preparation, packaging, and re-delivery of an already shipped order that was returned by the delivery service and/or not collected by the customer, including VAT, is 9.99 €.

 

The cost of preparation, packaging, and delivery of goods is included in the purchase price as a separate item. The costs of any return of goods are borne by the buyer. The seller may decide that under certain and known-in-advance conditions or during certain periods, postage may also be free. The contractual partners for the delivery of shipments are DPD (DPD, kurirska in paketna distribucija, d.o.o.) and GLS (General Logistics Systems, Logistične storitve d.o.o.), however, the provider reserves the right to choose another delivery service if this will enable the order to be fulfilled more efficiently.



7. Product prices and validity of the offer

The prices of products displayed in the Pet on Line Online Store are in Euros and include VAT, but do not yet include the cost of preparation, packaging, and delivery of the order to your address. The seller is liable for VAT. All prices displayed in the online store petonline.si are valid on the day and time of order confirmation and are valid until cancellation or change. Potential discounts and promo actions do not stack. Special offers and prices are valid until the specified date or until cancellation.


8. Promotional discount codes

The subscriber may occasionally issue various promotional codes to its customers via email or Facebook activities, which provide a discount upon purchase on all products or only on certain products. All promotional codes are time-limited and expire after validity. It also applies that one customer can only use one promotional code per purchase; different promotions are generally not compatible with each other and cannot be exchanged for any other benefit (e.g., discount on another product, free postage, etc.).


9. Return and exchange of goods and right of withdrawal from purchase in the online store

The buyer (this applies exclusively to natural persons who acquire the item for purposes outside their gainful activity) has the right to notify the seller in writing within 14 days of receiving the goods that they withdraw from the contract, without needing to state a reason for their decision.

The buyer must inform the seller of the intended return in writing via email: info@petonline.si, and must return the goods no later than fourteen (14) days from the written notice of withdrawal from the contract. The goods must be unused, unopened, undamaged, and in the original packaging. The return must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice sent to the buyer by the seller and a completed withdrawal form (we will send this to your email address in response to your written notice of the desired return of the product(s)). The buyer must then return the products immediately or no later than within 14 days of the notice of withdrawal from the contract. The buyer is considered to have returned the goods on time if they send them before the expiry of the 14-day return period.

The buyer is obliged to bear all costs incurred in returning the object of purchase. The buyer must pack the items safely and appropriately so that they cannot be damaged or lose their properties in any way, and return them by registered mail.  Any improperly packed items or those with visible mechanical damage from transport will not be accepted by the seller but will be returned to the buyer at their expense. In the case of purchasing devices (clippers, remote controls...) that come with a battery, the battery must not be inserted, and the product must not be activated, otherwise the consumer loses the right to withdraw from the contract.

Merely returning the goods within the withdrawal period without notifying the seller is not considered a withdrawal from the contract.

The seller does not accept ransom shipments (cash on delivery). The purchase price will be returned to the buyer as soon as possible, but no later than fourteen (14) days after receiving the notice of withdrawal from the contract.

Already purchased goods, provided that the goods are unused, unopened, undamaged, and in the original packaging, may also be returned by the buyer to the seller within 14 days of receipt of the goods and exchanged for other goods. Any difference in the value of the goods must be paid. The cost of return and the cost of re-shipping for other goods are borne entirely by the buyer.

10. Complaints, non-conformity, and warranty of products purchased in the online store

The buyer may complain about the goods if they do not have the properties explicitly promised by the seller, if the seller sent the wrong products, in the wrong quantity, or if they otherwise deviate from the buyer's order. The buyer may complain about the goods within 14 days of the date of purchase and request an immediate replacement for an identical, flawless item or request a refund.

In case of complaints, you can contact us via phone number 00386 (0)51 748 064, via email: info@petonline.si, and return the shipment to our address via our courier by prior arrangement with us. The courier will pick up the claimed shipment from you at our expense. Another method of return at our expense is not possible.

When enforcing the warranty, we operate in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot).

When enforcing non-conformity, we operate in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

 

In the event that the package you receive upon ordering goods is physically damaged, missing content, or shows signs of opening, we must initiate a complaint procedure with the delivery service. You should first notify us via email: info@petonline.si or via phone number: 00386 (0)51 748 064, and we will, by prior arrangement with you, send a courier from the delivery service to pick up the shipment from you in the same condition as you received it (without you adding or removing anything), and you must also fill out a complaint report beforehand. Together with our delivery service, we will ensure that the complaint is resolved as soon as possible.

11. Limitation of availability of products from the online store

Although the Pet on Line Online Store is accessible worldwide, not all offered products are necessarily available to all persons or available in all geographic locations or all jurisdictions. The Pet on Line Online Store sells products only within the territory of Slovenia and sends packages only to addresses in Slovenia. Any order for any product is void where prohibited by law.

12. Communication with the online store buyer

The seller will contact the buyer via means of distance communication only if the buyer does not explicitly object to this. Advertising electronic messages will contain components that will be clearly and unambiguously marked as advertising messages, the sender will be clearly indicated, campaigns, special discounts, and other marketing techniques will be clearly marked as such with clearly defined conditions for participation in them, the method of unsubscribing from receiving advertising messages will be clearly presented, and the buyer's wish not to receive advertising messages will be explicitly respected by the seller.

13. Opinions and comments of online store users

Opinions or comments of users of the Pet on Line Online Store and product reviews written by customers may be part of the functionality of the online store intended for the user community. The seller allows any registered user of the online store to write an opinion, and the seller will review them before final publication. The seller will not publish opinions or contributions that are in any way offensive, obscene, or, in the seller's opinion, do not provide benefit to other users and visitors.
