The flexible double-sided slicker brush is specially designed for easier and more efficient brushing, allowing good adaptation to the shape of the body part you are brushing, thus reducing the chances of pain while brushing your pet. Turn the brush 180° and you will get a firm pad with long, sturdy pins for dealing with matted hair and knots. Instructions for use:
Long hair - gently brush with light, long strokes that extend beyond the tip of the hair to prevent static electricity and breakage. For best results, brush the hair in layers. Start at the bottom of the body by horizontally dividing the coat and holding the unbrushed part up with your free hand. Work methodically up the body and keep your wrist straight to prevent contact with the dog's skin.
Curly hair - brush in the direction of hair growth and then against it with gentle, long strokes.
Wire hair - brush the hair in the direction of growth and then against it if necessary to remove knots and dead hair.

Tip: If the hair is tangled, use the Twin Flex Slicker brush in combination with a dematting tool. To prevent hair tangling and knot formation, we recommend regularly bathing your dog with appropriate shampoo and conditioner/mask and brushing daily. Before and during brushing, we recommend using a detangling spray.
